Where is the Rann Utsav Tent City located?+
The Tent City is set up at Dhordo, on the edge of the White Rann of Kutch — approximately 85 km from Bhuj, around a 1 hour 45 minute drive. Complimentary transfers are arranged from Bhuj.
What is included in the package price?+
Your stay includes accommodation, all meals, Bhuj pickup & drop transfers, the White Rann sunset visit, daily cultural programs, complimentary sightseeing tours, and access to Tent City activities and amenities.
When does the Rann Utsav season run?+
The festival typically runs across the winter season, from late October to early March. Full moon nights are especially magical. Contact us on WhatsApp for confirmed 2026-27 dates and availability.
Are children charged for the stay?+
Children below 6 years stay complimentary. Guests above 6 years are charged as an extra person with mattress. In case of triple occupancy, the third person is charged the extra-person rate.
What about single occupancy and taxes?+
Single occupancy is charged at 75% of the double occupancy cost. All quoted rates are exclusive of taxes — GST is applicable as per government norms.
What is the cancellation & refund policy?+
90% refund for cancellations 30+ days before arrival, 60% refund for 15-30 days before arrival, and no refund for cancellations within 15 days. Date or guest-name changes may attract a small charge.

What is the difference between Deluxe AC Swiss Cottage and Premium Tent?+
Both have AC and attached washrooms. The Premium Tent is larger, with enhanced interiors and refined amenities — including a small sitting area. Ideal if you want extra space and a slightly more luxurious feel.

  • Cancellation requests must be made in writing via WhatsApp or email to info@kutchdiaries.com.
  • Refunds are processed within 7 – 14 working days via the same payment method used for booking.
  • Change in guest name(s) on the booking will be treated as a cancellation and subject to applicable cancellation charges.
  • For any date change, a charge of ₹3,000 per tent + 18% GST will apply, in addition to any rate difference based on the new dates.
  • All rates are exclusive of applicable taxes. GST will be charged as per government norms.
  • In case of triple occupancy, any person above 6 years of age will be charged as an extra person (with mattress).
  • The organiser reserves all rights to make changes to the booking, schedule, or policy without prior notice in case of unavoidable circumstances.
