Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all bookings made through Kutch Tours and Travels for regular tour packages, vehicle rentals, and hotel bookings. For Tent City Dhordo bookings, a separate cancellation policy applies — please refer to our Tent City page.

1. Refund Schedule

Our refund schedule is based on the number of days between cancellation and your scheduled arrival date:

2. Modification Charges

If you need to modify your booking instead of cancelling, the following charges apply:

  • Check-in Date Change: 15% of the total booking amount will be charged.
  • Primary Guest Name Change: 5% of the total booking amount will be charged.
  • Room Category Downgrade: 5% of the total booking amount will be charged.

3. Taxes & GST

  • All quoted rates are exclusive of applicable taxes.
  • GST will be charged as per current government rates and regulations.
  • Tax rates are subject to change as per government policy.

4. Occupancy Rules

  • Triple Occupancy: Any person above 6 years of age will be charged as an extra person (with mattress).
  • Children below 6 years can be accommodated with parents without extra charge (subject to room capacity).
  • Maximum occupancy per room/tent must adhere to property guidelines.

5. How to Cancel Your Booking

To cancel or modify your booking, reach out to us through any of these channels:

Important: Cancellation requests are processed only after written confirmation via WhatsApp or email. Verbal cancellations are not binding.

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–15 working days.
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method used for booking.
  • Bank or payment gateway charges (if any) will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • For UPI/bank transfer refunds, please share correct account details to avoid delays.

7. Force Majeure

In case of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we will offer alternative dates or a partial refund at our discretion. These include:

  • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, cyclones)
  • Government restrictions or travel advisories
  • Pandemic-related restrictions
  • Political unrest or strikes
  • Festival cancellations

No 100% refund will be given for force majeure events, as we may have already incurred costs with our service partners.

8. Tent City Bookings

Separate Policy Applies: Tent City Dhordo (Rann Utsav) bookings have a separate, stricter cancellation policy due to advance booking requirements with the festival organizers. Please refer to the Tent City page for specific terms.
